6 adventure-approved beauty necessities

Whether you’re camping, hiking, kayaking or just spending the day at the beach, facing the great outdoors on a sunny day can leave you feeling not-so-hot. And while the sun offers us tons of vitamin D to keep us energized and happy, going barefaced sometimes make us feel less confident, distracting from the fun of an adventure.

So, here are six beauty essentials to look and feel great while out exploring world:

Hair

Dry shampoo is a must, especially when camping with no running water. Brush your hair out, apply it on your roots and brush it out. It’ll soak up excess oil and make you feel a lot fresher.

Tinted moisturizer will not only even out your skin tone, making you feel better about any dark circles or acne, but will help protect you from the harsh rays. Plus, seeing as it is just a moisturizer, it is light and won’t make it feel like you have a ton of makeup caked on.

Powder is a good product to bring along if you’re really self conscious about your skin. It’ll provide a little extra coverage, keep your tinted moisturizer on longer and will help reduce the look of oil on your t-zone.

To feel a little more feminine, bring along your eyelash curler. This’ll help make your eyes look wider and more awake, and curling your lashes will make you feel a little more put together.

Lastly, bring along a brow pencil to fill in sparse areas. Just like curling your lashes, filling in your brows is an easy way to help you feel more put together.

Don’t forget to pack makeup remover wipes! While wearing products during the hot day may make you feel more comfortable and confident, sleeping in them or leaving them on for too long will just trap dirt and sweat, causing a buildup of bacteria. Be sure to take off your makeup every evening to let your skin breathe.
