4 pens for all your writing needs

Calling all writing aficionados! If you write avidly, then your tool of choice is most likely the pen (unless you’re too cool for that and you type everything out). There’s just something about gripping a pen in your hand that ignites creative writing.

From the way it glides to how the ink can appear on paper, pens have been used to cultivate and bring great literature to life for years. If you ever run out of ink, but your imagination is still running, grab one of these! Writer tested and approved.

Pilot G-2 Size-07

As the go-to for most writers, this pen consists of smudge-proof ink and a comfortable rubber grip to give the smoothest writing experience. More often than not, I use this one to write fiction, letters and on important documents for that professional look.

Bic Round Stic Size – M

Most definitely the classic pen a college student can be seen sporting throughout the semester, it lasts longer than competing pens and the ball-tip gives an easy glide every time. Since it’s the easiest pen to find at school, the ink of this pen has become the life of my notes.

Paper Mate Flair Size – M

This felt tip combined with water based ink creates quick-drying results. The ink does not bleed through the paper and forms bold lines. For more artsy purposes, like decorating a card or leaving a bold print, this does the trick.

Uni-Ball Signo Size – 270

With ink that seemingly tethers to paper, this pen is perfect to make any paper look professional. It has acid-free and water-resistant ink that dries quickly – all qualities you want in a pen. For more simple tasks or when you need to grab any old pen quickly, I find that this pen never fails to complete the task.
