Your last minute Okeechobee Music Festival checklist

The countdown is almost over and Okeechobee Music Festival is almost here! Our bedrooms are officially filled with in glitter, camping gear and ever-growing excitement in preparation.

But, packing for this 4-day event is no small task. Here is a checklist of what you’ll need to have the best experience at Florida’s biggest music festival:

  • Tent
  • Tarp (for under the tent)
  • Sleeping bag
  • Pillow
  • Blanket
  • Flashlight
  • Towels
  • Foldable chair
  • Clothes for 4 days
  • Hoodie
  • Underwear x6
  • Sunglasses
  • Bathing suit
  • Comfy walking shoes
  • Flip flops
  • Boots or sneakers
  • Onesie (because why not?)
  • Pads/tampons
  • Baby wipes (showers cost money)
  • Tissues
  • Toilet paper
  • Toothbrush & toothpaste
  • Travel sized shampoo & conditioner
  • Dry shampoo
  • Hairbrush and ties
  • Deodorant
  • Bug spray
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Sunscreen
  • Aloe vera
  • Moisturizer
  • Makeup & remover wipes
  • Glitter
  • Condoms (you never know)
  • Mesh/Watersafe bag (for wet clothes)
  • Mini first aid kit (including Benadryl and Ibuprofen)

  • Prepped sandwiches (PB&J is the best!)
  • Chips & dip

  • Fruit (They won’t take up fridge space.)

  • List of group members’ contact & medical info (to be safe)
  • Schedule of performers
  • Small everyday bag
  • Disposable camera (professional cameras aren’t allowed during shows)
  • Speaker
  • Phone (with lots of storage)
  • Okeechobee phone app
  • Phone car charger
  • Portable charger
  • Batteries
  • Yoga mat
  • Glowsticks or solar powered LED (to find camp at night)
  • Games/Sports equipment
  • Hammock
  • Handheld fan
